Indoor Play Places in Dallas

Whether you’re looking for a location to host a birthday party or want to get the family out of the house, there’s plenty of places in the DFW area to check out! Indoor play places are a great way to enjoy the day without having to worry about the often unpredictable North Texas weather. Here are some indoor play places we recommend checking out in the Dallas area. 

1. Safari Run

Safari Run, located in Plano, includes a safari-themed play area, an arcade, kids’ fitness classes and much more! It was created with kids’ health, wellness and fun in mind while also providing an ultra-clean place to play. Safari Run is open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. for open play and is only open on the weekends for private birthday parties. This is our first choice for indoor play places in Dallas.

2. Play Street Museum

Play Street Museum is located in Lake Highlands and is catered to children eight years old and younger. It is a world specifically crafted for your children to explore, navigate and engage. Play Street Museum lets your kid’s imagination run wild!

3. The Kids Play Co. 

The Kids Play Co. is located in Richardson and is for children ages 1-8. Complete with custom-designed playhouses, the Kids Play Co. is a great place to let your kid’s imagination run wild and make new friends along the way. It also has a dedicated parent area with complimentary coffee and Wi-Fi so you can relax why your kid has a great time. 

4. Kid’s Castle

Located in Plano, Kid’s Castle is open every day of the week from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends. Kid’s Castle is sure to keep your child entertained with a lego room, trampolines, swings and more. It’s a great place to host a private birthday party! 

5. Kids Empire Mesquite

Kids Empire is a great way to let the kids burn off some steam. This large venue has slides, ball pits, and friendly staff members ready to help you and your child. It’s a great place to bring your kid when the weather isn’t cooperating! 

6. Luv 2 Play Grapevine

Luv 2 Play is located in Grapevine and is open every day of the week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weeknights and 7 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The indoor playground is big enough for you to follow your child around comfortably! There’s a specific area for babies and another for toddlers.
