What Is Bubble Ball?  

Bubble Ball, also known as knockerball, is like a traditional soccer game with a twist. All players must wear an inflatable bubble with handles and adjustable shoulder straps. It slides down over the head and shoulders and is secured to the body.

And, while it may sound simple, it adds a whole new element to games and relays.

Each unit has adjustable sizes to fit each player, so individuals of all ages are encouraged to play. The inflation works to protect the upper body, including the head from any impact or falls. The legs are outside of the unit to allow for running and easy movement.

How to Play

As mentioned, Bubble Ball is like a traditional soccer game. Hands are confined within the inflatable, so the legs are used to get the ball into the net. How this version differs is that players are surrounded by a large inflatable often causing contact with others leading to falling, bouncing, and a whole lot of fun. 

Typically, there will be two teams with sizes that may vary depending on how large the participating group is. The game can be held either inside or outside. If choosing to play inside, the space is usually smaller leading to more collisions and higher scores. Outside allows for more space to spread out, but usually allows for a larger goalie net as well.

Other Fun Activities

While traditional play at DFW Bubble Ball is similar to soccer, other activities can be set up to suit your group. These can include games like:

These may include, but are not limited to playing on flat surfaces only, allowing only one participant in each inflatable at a time, prohibiting those under the influence from playing and many more. Additionally, our events are proctored by our staff to make sure things run smoothly and safely. Participants do not have to share equipment and it is cleaned and sanitized after each use to ensure a sanitary environment.
