General admission tickets start at $35 and a VIP ticket for $65 will gain you early entry, access to the VIP area where there will also be liquor sampling, and complimentary food.
State Fair of Texas
The State Fair of Texas can trace its origin back to the late 1800s with different themes each year to show off the state. This year, the theme is based on celebrating Texas’ creativity. From September 27th through October 20th, your family can enjoy livestock auctions, cooking contests, carnival games and rides, live music, and so much more. Don’t forget to try some of the new food and drinks available this year including Corn Dog Ale and Deep Fried Pico de Gallo.
DFW Kid’s Fall Fest
Located at the Dallas Farmers Market on October 19th, this one-day family-oriented festival will help you celebrate everything fall has to offer. While the event is free, DFW Kid’s Directory is asking for donations in the form of bottled water, toilet paper, etc., for the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas. This year, you can find a petting zoo, live entertainment, pumpkin painting, balloon artists, and so much more.
Dallas Festival of the Arts
This two-day festival occurring on October 26th and 27th puts an emphasis on the visual arts which are the main part of the community in Dallas. There will be over 125 painters, photographers, glassblowers, sculptors, and more here. The festival will also provide an opportunity for visitors to watch live artist demonstrations, participate in hands-on activities, and enjoy live music. Did we mention that it will be free to attend?
Cosmic Yogi Festival
Located in the Addison Conference and Theatre Center on November 2nd, this all-day yoga festival will be sure to leave you feeling excited, rejuvenated, and at peace. There will be 3 to 4 yoga and meditation classes starting every hour including fun classes such as goat yoga, aerial yoga, belly dancing, drum circles, and more.
