Dog Parks in DFW

Just like their human owners, dogs need to get out of the house and socialize. Your pup deserves some time to run around and mingle with other dogs! Taking your dog to a local dog park is a great way for your dog to get some exercise, run off some energy and make new friends. There are some great dog parks in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, here are some of our favorites. 

NorthBark Dog Park

NorthBark Dog Park is the biggest dog park in North Texas! It is located near the North Dallas Tollway and the President George Bush Tollway. This dog park is 22.3 acres big and has everything to ensure your pup has a great time. NorthBark Dog Park offers trails, a swale a lawn area and even a dog beach. 

Wagging Trail Dog Park

Wagging Trail Dog Park was the first dog park designed by the city of Dallas! It is located northwest of Preston Road.  It’s 6.9 acres with plenty of things for both you and your dog to enjoy. Wagging Trail Dog Park is closed when it’s raining outside and on Mondays for maintenance work. 

White Rock Lake Dog Park

White Rock Lake Dog Park is a freshly renovated 3-acre dog park with plenty for your dog to do. It is located on the northwest side of White Rock Lake Park at the intersection of Mockingbird Lane and W. Lawther Drive. White Rock Lake Dog Park is also right next to some of the best hiking, jogging, and biking trails in the area. 

Bark Park Central

Bark Park Central is located off the southwest intersection of Good-Latimer Expressway and Commerce Streets. It is open every day except Tuesday when it’s closed for maintenance and on rainy days. It is a 1.2-acre off-leash dog park located in the heart of Deep Ellum. It is within walking distance of all of the great dog-friendly restaurants and bars located in Deep Ellum! A great place to let your dog burn off some energy before grabbing a bite to eat or a drink after a long day. 

Westminster Dog Park

Located off of Devonshire Drive, Westminster Dog Park is located in Dallas! This park is open seven days of the week and has plenty of room for your dog to run around and make new friends. There are potty stations, bowls of water, a doggy pool and a wash station in case your dog gets dirty.
